Addendum to comments on previous post "Mom...How Big is God's Finger"

Friends…
Being the novice blogger that I am I tried posting this as a comment to the previous blog and was denied.  Apparently, like my voicemail messages, I was a little to long-winded.  Seems that just over 4,000 characters is the max.??  I guess I can’t complain, at least its more than a twitter but still, hardly enough to say anything.  IMO
I ran across this Writing today on another Blog while reading up on the latest news regarding the trial for the 7 Baha'is in Iran which has again been set, this time for next Tuesday January 12.  The piece was titled, Iran: Another Wave of False and Outrageous Allegations.  While reading up on this, yet again, tragic news I happened to notice the blog’s “quote of the day” and it seemed to connect with a portion of the gem that was shared in a comment on the previous post, specifically the portion...
yet to each time and era a portion is allotted and a bounty set apart, this in a given measure. “And no one thing is there, but Us are its storehouses; and We send it not down but in settled measure.”*
In this “quote of the day”  Baha’u’llah elucidates further on what He means by this.  At least that is the impression I get.
“All the Prophets of God,” asserts Bahá’u’lláh in the Kitáb-i-Íqán, “abide in the same tabernacle, soar in the same heaven, are seated upon the same throne, utter the same speech, and proclaim the same Faith.” From the “beginning that hath no beginning,” these Exponents of the Unity of God and Channels of His incessant utterance have shed the light of the invisible Beauty upon mankind, and will continue, to the “end that hath no end,” to vouchsafe fresh revelations of His might and additional experiences of His inconceivable glory. To contend that any particular religion is final, that “all Revelation is ended, that the portals of Divine mercy are closed, that from the daysprings of eternal holiness no sun shall rise again, that the ocean of everlasting bounty is forever stilled, and that out of the Tabernacle of ancient glory the Messengers of God have ceased to be made manifest” would indeed be nothing less than sheer blasphemy.

“They differ,” explains Bahá’u’lláh in that same epistle, “only in the intensity of their revelation and the comparative potency of their light.” And this, not by reason of any inherent incapacity of any one of them to reveal in a fuller measure the glory of the Message with which He has been entrusted, but rather because of the immaturity and unpreparedness of the age He lived in to apprehend and absorb the full potentialities latent in that Faith.

(Shoghi Effendi: The World Order of Baha'u'llah)
So, what does this have to do with the original question of the last post, “How BIG is God’s Finger?  Well, it seems to me if this be the case,
…“From the “beginning that hath no beginning,” these Exponents of the Unity of God and Channels of His incessant utterance have shed the light of the invisible Beauty upon mankind, and will continue, to the “end that hath no end,” to vouchsafe fresh revelations of His might and additional experiences of His inconceivable glory”
Then I can have a reasonable amount of certitude that God’s finger must be BIG!
By comparison, my life story could be wrapped up in one breath; that is, from the beginning of ONE breath to the end.  lol
What does Baha’u’llah have to say about those who contend that the following is not the case?
To contend that any particular religion is final, that “all Revelation is ended, that the portals of Divine mercy are closed, that from the daysprings of eternal holiness no sun shall rise again, that the ocean of everlasting bounty is forever stilled, and that out of the Tabernacle of ancient glory the Messengers of God have ceased to be made manifest” would indeed be nothing less than sheer blasphemy.
Well, let’s have a look…
…”When the Unseen, the Eternal, the divine Essence, caused the Day-star of Muhammad to rise above the horizon of knowledge, among the cavils which the Jewish divines raised against Him was that after Moses no Prophet should be sent of God. Yea, mention hath been made in the scriptures of a Soul Who must needs be made manifest and Who will advance the Faith, and promote the interests of the people, of Moses, so that the Law of the Mosaic Dispensation may encompass the whole earth. Thus hath the King of eternal glory referred in His Book to the words uttered by those wanderers in the vale of remoteness and error: "'The hand of God,' say the Jews, 'is chained up.' Chained up be their own hands! And for that which they have said, they were accursed. Nay, outstretched are both His hands!"[1] "The hand of God is above their hands."[2]
 [1 Qur'án 5:64.]   [2 Qur'án 48:10.]
                              (Baha'u'llah, The Kitab-i-Iqan, p. 135)
“Nay, outstretched are both His hands!”  I love that part.  As Habib Riazati would say, “try playing chess with Him”.  Ha!    All of The Words (knowledge… a single point which the foolish have multiplied....chess pieces) are at His command!!
Peace…
